Dave Grohl admits fathering child outside his marriage

Dave Grohl, frontman of the Foo Fighters, recently shared a personal update on Instagram, revealing that he has welcomed a baby girl born "outside of my marriage." In his post, the 55-year-old musician expressed his commitment to being a "loving and supportive parent" to his new daughter. Grohl, who is married to Jordyn Blum since 2003 and has three daughters with her, mentioned his efforts to regain his family's trust and earn their forgiveness. He requested consideration for all the children involved as they navigate this situation together. No information was provided about the mother of his new child.

Dave Grohl has turned off the comments on his recent Instagram post about welcoming a baby girl born "outside of my marriage." His wife, Jordyn Blum, a former TV producer and model, shares three daughters with him: Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10. 

Grohl, known for his work with Nirvana and Foo Fighters, was previously married to photographer Jennifer Leigh Youngblood from 1994 to 1997. Their marriage ended following Grohl’s admission of infidelity. After Nirvana's breakup in 1994 due to Kurt Cobain's death, Grohl formed Foo Fighters, achieving significant success, including with their latest album, But Here We Are (2023).
